Social Media as Solidarity Vehicle During the 2020 #EndSARS Protests in Nigeria

This research examines the methods through which individuals participating in the 2020 #EndSARS protests in Nigeria acquired information and coordinated their involvement. Findings from surveys conducted during the protests in 2020 and analysis of tweet content indicate that individuals aged 30 and above, who utilized Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter for learning about and organizing the protests, were more inclined to join on the initial day of the demonstrations.
