The overarching theme for ICA 2024 is ‘Communication and global human rights.’ Discussions will revolve around the nexus of human rights with concepts of Western-centric modernity, universality, and the role of global institutions, aligning with the foundational calls for globalizing and decolonizing knowledge that underpin this pre-conference. The deadline for submission has been extended to 14 February 2024.
